The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Qatar Chapter successfully concluded its 4th General Membership Meeting, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Seminar, and Year-End Thanksgiving Celebration on December 6, at the Abesq Doha Hotel.

The event was a major success, drawing more than 150 Filipino architects for a day of professional development, celebration, and thanksgiving.

Distinguished guests included Ar. Jonathan Manalad, UAP National Vice President for Area A; Ar. Jhin Tabuzo, UAP Qatar Chapter founder and co-founder of the Philippine Professional Organization in Qatar (PPOQ); and Hon. Atty. Edward Ferrer, Philippine Labor Attache to Qatar.

Under the leadership of Chapter President Ar./Enp. Jayson Santos and the UAP Qatar Board of Directors, the event highlighted UAP Qatar’s pivotal role in shaping the future of Filipino architects not only in the Philippines and Qatar, but in the global arena.

The program featured two key segments: a CPD Seminar addressing critical issues surrounding the evolving role of architects and the global influence of Filipino professionals, followed by the Thanksgiving Celebration.

This event also served as a platform for reflection and gratitude, marking a significant milestone in the Chapter’s journey. It celebrated growth, unity, and achievement, embodying the Chapter’s vision of fostering excellence and camaraderie among Filipino architects in Qatar.

As the UAP Qatar Chapter moves forward, the event stands as a testament to the strength of its members, the dedication of its leadership, and its unwavering commitment to the mission of the UAP.

Looking ahead, the chapter continues to thrive as a beacon of professional excellence and unity within the Filipino community in Qatar.
