HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan on Saturday met with Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq Fuad Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the Caretaker Government of Lebanon Dr Abdallah Bou Habib, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of Egypt Dr Badr Abdelaaty, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye Hakan Fidan, Secretary of State of the United States of America Antony Blinken, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Noel Barrot, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas, and Special Envoy of the United Nations for Syria Geir Pedersen.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan Dr Ayman Al Safadi.
The meeting discussed developments in Syria as well as the ways to support regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in Syria.
