DOHA: Qatar Charity distributed food aid to families in need and displaced persons to face the winter cold in Taiz, Yemen.
In a statement on Sunday, Qatar Charity indicated that more than 5,200 people benefited from the food assistance that came as part of the "How Long?" campaign, which was launched recently and targets 25 countries worldwide.
The statement added that the assistance provided would help the humanitarian suffering of the targeted families, who have been enduring the ongoing crisis in Yemen for the past nine years.
In November, Qatar Charity launched the "How Long" campaign to address the challenges of the 2024-2025 winter season.
