A team from DPS-Modern Indian School participated in the VIII annual THIMUN Qatar conference from January 22 to 25, at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). A total 94 delegates from the school represented Federal Republic of Brazil, European Union, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of Ghana, Republic of Lithuania, Mangolia, Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and Federal Republic of Somalia.
The theme for this year’s conference was “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions” and most of the topics discussed at the conference revolved around the role of the strong institutions in creating, maintaining and restoring peace and justice across the world.
Jaideep Singh brought laurels to the school by acting as Deputy Secretary General for the conference.
The delegates were accompanied by Marie Luthra and Amir Khan, the MUN
directors.
