The Lawyers Admissions Committee convened under the chairmanship of Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi on
Monday.
The agenda included the administration of the oath of admission for newly licensed attorneys, considering applications by several business owners to be registered on the legal roster, and approving applications of two trainee lawyers. The transfer of certain attorneys’ registrations to the list of active practitioners eligible to appear before the Court of Cassation was also discussed.
The committee also discussed legal profession regulations, including the minutes of the subcommittees and took the appropriate decisions.
During the meeting, the minister congratulated the committee on the Qatar National Day, highlighting the occasion as a moment of pride in Qatar’s achievements across all sectors and its ongoing rule of law and institutionalisation march under its prudent leadership.
