DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality has announced the arrival of jaguars (male and female) from the Cooperative Republic of Guyana to the State of Qatar.
Jaguar is one of the most prominent rare and endangered wild animals. The pair have joined Al Khor Family Park Zoo.
The animals were received as part of an initiative to enhance international cooperation to protect the environment and wildlife and to contribute to raising awareness of the importance of protecting and conserving rare species.
