Chaliyar Doha Women’s Committee, a leading environmental organisation in Qatar, celebrated Qatar National Day with enthusiasm with an event titled ‘Arabic Night’. This special celebration, dedicated to women and children, drew more than 100 attendees from various ‘panchayats’ of Chaliyar Doha.
The festivities commenced with children dressed in traditional Arabic attire singing the Qatar National Anthem, setting the tone for a vibrant evening. The event featured an array of cultural programmes, including music and games, creating a lively and joyous atmosphere.
Led by Chaliyar Doha Women’s Wing President Muhsina Zameel, the event was skillfully coordinated by Femina Saleem, Labeeb Thayyil, Dr Asheeka, Labeeb Ashraf, Rimshida, Febi and Risana.
The Arabian Majlis, a central theme of the event, embodied the committee’s gratitude and respect for Qatar, the nation that supports and nurtures their community. It stood as a powerful symbol of unity, love, and togetherness, reflecting the strong bond between the residents and their homeland.
