The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa recently marked Qatar National Day with a series of celebrations that reflected the hotel’s commitment to the country and its dedication to community engagement. The events were designed to honour the rich cultural heritage of Qatar while fostering a spirit of inclusivity and joy among associates and guests alike.

The hotel hosted a special celebration for children from the Qatar Autism Centre on December 17 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. The event, which was held from 9am to 11am, allowed the children to experience the vibrant atmosphere of National Day celebrations.

The children were joined by the hotel’s management team and associates, who shared in the festivities, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

The event was a heartfelt gesture of appreciation to Qatar for its ongoing support of all members of society.

On December 18, the Westin Doha Hotel & SPA continued the National Day celebrations with a cake-cutting ceremony in the lobby, attended by both management and guests. The lobby was beautifully decorated with the colours of the Qatari flag, setting the stage for an enjoyable and festive atmosphere. The ceremony brought together associates and guests, all united in celebrating Qatar’sNational Day.

That same afternoon, the Human Resources department organized a special celebration for the hotel’s associates in the Refuel staff canteen. The event featured traditional Qatari food, festive decorations, and another cake-cutting ceremony, creating an inviting and joyful atmosphere for the hotel’s team. This celebration further underscored the importance of Qatar National Day and the strong sense of community within the hotel.

In a statement, the General Manager of The Westin Doha Hotel & SPA expressed the hotel’s pride in being part of the National Day celebrations.
