QNADohaThe Ministry of Education and Higher Education on Saturday concluded the ‘Back to School’ campaign, which had commenced on August 13 under the tagline ‘With Education, We Build Qatar’.The Ministry created the ‘Back to School’ campaign for the academic year 2022-2023 in collaboration with transportation provider Mowasalat (Karwa) and Doha Festival City, which hosted the campaign’s activities.The campaign includes a variety of instructive and amusing activities, as well as health and safety awareness, general advice and instructions in schools, directions for riding the school bus safely, and adherence to the instructions and etiquette of sitting.The Ministry acknowledged the campaign organizers, partners, and members at the conclusion of the events for their active and important contributions to the campaign’s success.In comments, Mowasalat’s Director of Media and Government Relations Khalid Hassan Kafud stated that the company was eager to involve students and raise their awareness of the importance of mass transportation in reducing carbon emissions and preserving the green environment, among other educational topics, through its participation in the campaign.He stated that, with the start of the new school year, the company will provide school buses with the highest safety standards that conform to standard specifications, as well as the latest technologies such as cameras and sensors distributed around the bus to alert the driver when any student approaches it, as well as monitoring the status of the bus through a central operations room to ensure efficient operation and rapid intervention in emergency situations.Robert Hull, General Manager of Doha Festival City, acknowledged his delight at the success of the Back to School campaign and highlighted his desire for increased collaboration with partners, in keeping with the mall’s society agenda, which aspires to contribute to the growth of Qatari society.The campaign had a large public turnout and met all of its objectives by organizing various activities to prepare students to return to school in a pleasant learning and entertaining environment.
