DOHA: The activities of the Unified Gulf Inmates Week Exhibition 2024 began on Sunday.
Organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Penal and Correctional Institutions Department, the exhibition is held under the theme 'Towards the Path of Reform' as part of efforts to rehabilitate inmates and reintegrate them into society.
The awareness exhibition, hosted at Place Vendome Mall, was inaugurated by Major General Mohammed Jassim Al Sulaiti, Director General of Public Security, in the presence of HE Dr Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Ghanem Al Thani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs; HE Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani, Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development and Family; and Major General Nasser Mohammed Issa Al Sayed, Director of the Penal and Correctional Institutions Department.
Several directors of Ministry of Interior departments and representatives of participating entities also attended.
