BerlincTypeface:> Borussia Dortmund and Germany midfielder Pascal Gross has been suspended for two Bundesliga matches after he received a red card in game against VfL Wolfsburg, the German Football Federation said on Monday in a statement. Gross got his marching orders for a last-man foul on Lukas Nmecha during Sunday’s 3-1 win for Dortmund. He will miss the league games against champions Bayer Leverkusen on January 10, 2025 and at promoted Holstein Kiel four days later. Mainz midfielder Nadiem Amiri was also handed a two-game ban after a red card in the 3-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. He won’t join the squad for games against Bochum on January 11 and Leverkusen on Jan 14. (DPA)
