DOHA: The Legal and Judicial Studies Center at the Ministry of Justice is organizing three training courses for a number of legal professionals in various ministries and government agencies, covering "provisions of trading and legal oversight of financial markets", "skills of preparing and drafting administrative decisions", and "provisions of the permanent constitution of the State of Qatar".
The course "Trading Provisions and Legal Supervision of Financial Markets" aims to develop the legal and practical skills of participants in the field of provisions related to trading and legal supervision of the stock market, and to familiarize them with the legal procedures and controls related to the activities of financial markets, by explaining the nature of the activities of financial markets and securities licensed for trading in the stock market, defining financial services and investment management in securities, and being aware of the provisions regulating the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, legal supervision of the stock market, and reviewing the penalties and precautionary measures stipulated by law to confront violating financial activities.
The “Skills for Preparing and Drafting Administrative Decisions” course aims to enable participants to prepare and draft administrative decisions, and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills regarding the provisions of administrative decisions and the controls for preparing and drafting them, by stating and explaining the nature of the administrative decision, its conditions and characteristics, the rules and principles that govern administrative decisions, reviewing the importance of employing appropriate linguistic methods in drafting, understanding the main steps for preparing and writing the administrative decision, avoiding common errors in drafting and issuing administrative decisions, identifying the mechanism for preparing and drafting a sound administrative decision, and the practical application of preparing decisions and correcting errors.
The course “Provisions of the Permanent Constitution of the State of Qatar” aims to introduce participants and develop their legal and practical skills related to the concept of the constitution and its provisions in the State of Qatar, explain its importance, and its role in organizing the pillars of the state, establishing the basic foundations of society, embodying popular participation in decision-making, and guaranteeing rights and freedoms.
The Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Ministry of Justice, within the framework of its new vision, aims to meet the country’s training needs, and enhance its local partnerships to meet the training needs of various governmental and semi-governmental institutions in the country, and work to develop legal professions and raise the efficiency of those working in them, as work is underway to design and offer qualitative programs and courses that take into account the practical and applied aspect and focus on preparing qualified national cadres in various legal specializations and fields and fields related to enhancing the specialized technical skills and expertise of legal professionals in various governmental agencies.
