Cruise ship Costa Smeralda arrived at Doha Port Cruise Terminal on Tuesday on its inaugural visit to Qatar.Carrying 6,089 passengers and a crew of 1604, the ship is operated by Costa Cruises, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & PLC, and sails under the Italian flag.It has a capacity for around 6,600 passengers alongside its 1,678 crew members. The ship measuring 323.6 metres in length and 37.2 metres in width is designed with modern features. It offers 1,550 cabins, numerous entertainment areas, two swimming pools, a health club, and 11 diverse restaurants. (TNN)
