MoscowcTypeface:> Russia and the United States are to continue their cooperation in space in the coming years, despite the tensions on the ground.
The Russian space agency Roscosmos announced in Moscow on Saturday that it would be conducting new joint flights to the International Space Station (ISS) to 2027.
Two flights with Russian Soyuz space capsules to the ISS and three using SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsules are planned during this period, the Interfax news agency in Moscow reported, according to Roscosmos. This will ensure the reliability of work on the ISS, Roscosmos said.
The Russian agency also said its cosmonauts will be able to stay on the ISS for longer - seven to nine
months instead of the average of six. (DPA)
