Al Rayyan scored a big 112-80 victory over Al Wakrah in the 7th round of QBF Basketball League 2024-25 at the Qatar Basketball Federation’s Hall in Al Gharafa on Sunday. US-born Qatar international Tyler James Lee Harris scored 25 points while making three rebounds and four assists. Qatar’s 16-year-old Abdulla Yassin Mousa also made a valuable contribution, adding 21 points. Earlier, defending champions Al Arabi suffered their second third loss in a row as they went down to Al Gharafa 90-83. The Efstathios Nerantzakis-coached Al Rayyan have now won all seven of their matches in the season, raising their points tally to 14 while Al Wakrah are in sixth place with two wins. (TNN)
