DAMASCUS: A Qatari Armed Forces plane has arrived at Damascus International Airport, carrying humanitarian aid including ambulances, food supplies and medicines provided by the Qatar Development Fund, in addition to technical assistance to contribute to the re-operation of Damascus International Airport, ensuring the flow of aid to Syria.
This aid comes within the air bridge operated by the State of Qatar to provide relief to our brothers in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic and contribute to addressing their humanitarian conditions.
This is the first plane to land at Damascus International Airport as part of the Qatari air bridge, which confirms the State of Qatar’s great interest and full support for the brothers in Syria.
Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad affirmed the State of Qatar’s continued support for Syria in all fields, especially humanitarian and developmental, to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people for a decent life and building a state of institutions and law.
She said this step would accelerate the delivery of aid to the beneficiary sectors, stressing the continued flow of Qatari aid through various ports.
