Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) has announced new service hours for metro and tram networks, effective Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

The move comes as part of Qatar Rail’s commitment to meeting customer expectations and meeting the growing demand for Doha Metro and Lusail Tram services.

Under the new timetable, the Doha Metro will operate from Saturday to Thursday between 5 am and 1 am, while on Fridays, services will start from 9 am to 1 am.

The Lusail Tram will run from Saturday to Thursday between 5am and 1:30 am, with Friday operations beginning at 2 pm and ending at 1:30 am.

Additionally, metrolink and metroexpress services will follow the revised Metro and Tram operating hours.

The new service hours reflect Qatar Rail’s flexible operational approach and its commitment to enhancing the customer travel experience and meeting their expectations.

It comes in line with the growing trust among residents and visitors in the metro and tram services, which now offer modern, advanced, and sustainable transportation options.

These services allow passengers to travel easily and safely between various destinations in Doha and Lusail cities, as well as to key event areas, tourist attractions, and Hamad International Airport.
