Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has received the largest batch of graduate students since its establishment in 2010. This academic year, the number of students enrolled reached 349 male and female students from geographically diverse backgrounds, including from Qatar and the Middle East and North AfricaThe list of students enrolled in the university’s six faculties included 63 international students and 187 residents, 97 of which were Qatari students, making up nearly 30 percent of the new batch. This is a 50 percent increase from the numbers of last year.HBKU’s Provost Dr Michael Benedik expressed his pride in receiving the largest batch of students in HBKU’s history to date, which he said highlights the progress made by the university in a relatively short period.— Page 16
