The Philippine Association of Safety Engineers (PHASE) - Qatar, a group of Filipino health and safety practitioners, organised a beach clean-up drive at the inland sea, 90 kilometres away from Doha, recently.
The initiative is one of the top priorities of the professional group for the year. It is aimed at increasing awareness of its members and contributing to the protection of marine life and caring for the environment.
The campaign with the theme “Beach clean-up to save and protect marine life” was led by the office-bearers and members of PHASE Qatar. It was also supported by members of another Filipino group Pinoy Off-roaders Qatar (POQ).
