DOHA: Al Rayyan Club has officially declared that it has parted ways with head coach Younes Ali, ahead of the second part of 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League.

In a post on X account, Al Rayyan Club stated that a deal was reached with head coach Younes Ali to part ways and thanked him following the end of his tenure, wishing him success in his future assignments.

Al Rayyan Club appointed Younes Ali as head coach last September, following his departure from Al Arabi, succeeding the Swedish coach Spaghetti, who was relieved of his duties due to poor results.

Al Rayyan, the runner-up of the previous season's Qatari Football League, concluded the first part of 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League by triumphing over Qatar SC 2-1, securing 13 points from four wins, one draw, and six losses.

This placed the club in eighth position on the league table and currently preparing for a crucial encounter against Umm Salal in the Qatar Stars League, scheduled for next Friday at the Khalifa International Stadium, marking the opening of the second part of the season, specifically round 12 of the contest.
