The cold weather will continue for the next two days due to the ongoing impact of northwesterly winds, according to Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD).

“Relatively cold weather during the day with some clouds, and cold to very cold at night. Winds will be Northwesterly, moderate to fresh in speed with strong gusts at times,” the QMD said in a post on X platform.

Sudanthile station recorded the lowest temperature at 9°Con Saturday morning, , while the capital Doha recorded 15 °C, the QMD said.

The QMD also warned of strong winds and high waves at sea. It expected the weather to be accompanied by dust over some coastal areas, becoming relatively cold during the day with some clouds, and cold to very cold at night, and at sea it will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times.
