Palestinian group Hamas has published another video showing one of the hostages abducted from Israel during the October 7 attacks, Israeli media reported on Saturday.

The family of the hostage, a 19-year-old female soldier, has asked the media to refrain from publishing the three-and-a-half minute video or images from it. The woman, who had been stationed as a surveillance soldier in Nahal Oz on the border to the Gaza Strip when Hamas-led fighters breached the fence on October 7, 2023, was abducted to the Palestinian coastal enclave alongside 250 others that day.

The Times of Israel reported that the video was not dated, but the soldier states that she has been held for more than 450 days, suggesting it may have been shot recently.

Some 1,200 people were killed when Hamas and other Palestinian fighters attacked southern Israeli communities on October 7, most of them civilians. Israel responded by waging war on Gaza, a sealed-off coastal territory that has since been largely laid to ruins.

More than 45,700 people have been killed in the war so far, according to Palestinian estimates. Negotiations to secure a ceasefire and the return of the remaining hostages have been at a stalemate for months.
