DOHA: The Special Marine Force of the Special Joint Forces concluded Exercise Sea Warrior (7) with the Pakistani side, in the presence of Qatar Amiri Land Forces Commander HE Maj Gen Jassim bin Ali Al Attiyah.
The exercise included training on marine invasions, piracy combat, tactical diving (frogmen), fast rope descending, and rubber boat drop from a helicopter and preparing it.
The exercise aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and exchanging experience between the two countries in the fields of tactical diving and marine terrorism combat.
The conclusion of the exercise was attended by V Adm Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami, Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, Maj Gen (Sea) Abdullah Ali Al Mazroui, Qatar Amiri Naval Forces Deputy Commander, Brig Mohammed Zayed Al Otaibi, Joint Special Force Commander, in addition to a number of officers of both sides.
