Calling all coffee lovers, the Qatar World Coffee Expo 2025 is set to take place from January 23 to 25 at Hall 7 of the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
The event, formerly known as the Doha International Coffee Exhibition, has been rebranded following its successful 2023 edition.
The three-day expo will bring together coffee producers, manufacturers, retailers, traders, and industry professionals from Qatar and beyond. Designed to cater to the region’s expanding coffee industry, the event aims to connect businesses and individuals looking to enter the Middle East’s coffee market.
Qatar World Coffee Expo will feature various attractions, including the Roaster Village, Brew Bar, Cupping Room, and the Qatar Specialty Coffee Association (QatSCA) Community Lounge.
Visitors can also attend workshops, lectures, and explore innovations in coffee brewing and roasting techniques. Awards such as Doha’s Best Coffee Roasters and Best Booth will feature outstanding contributions to the coffee scene.
A major highlight of the expo will be the National Championships, featuring three key competitions: the Qatar National Barista Championship, Qatar National Latte Art Championship, and Qatar National Cup Tasters Championship.
Organised by QatSCA, the championships are rooted in the shared vision of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and Europe (SCAE). Since its establishment in 2019, the chapter has been instrumental in promoting Qatar’s coffee culture on a global stage.
Since its first edition, the event has attracted 12,945 visitors and over 340 exhibitors, highlighting innovation, education, and coffee commerce.
According to 6Wresearch, a global market research and consulting firm, Qatar’s coffee market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.5 percent between 2024 and 2030. This growth is driven by shifting consumer preferences toward high-quality and specialty coffee, which has boosted demand for premium products. The trend is further supported by the rising number of cafes and coffee shops offering diverse brewing methods and bean varieties to cater to varying tastes.
