DOHA: Qatar’s immersive world in the metaverse, Qatar Adventure, has unveiled new updates to kick off 2025, introducing exciting water-themed attractions and mini-games for Roblox users to enjoy.
The latest update includes Meryal Water Park, home to the world’s tallest waterslide, as well as a Water Jetpack obstacle course, or “Obby”, located along Qatar Adventure’s virtual coast. These additions complement the existing attractions in the popular Qatar-based metaverse experience.
Launched on 29 November 2024, Qatar Adventure has already attracted over 4.2 million visitors from over 130 countries, successfully showcasing Qatar's rich tourism offerings and cultural heritage through interactive gameplay.
Players worldwide can access Qatar Adventure through the popular Livetopia world on Roblox until 28 February 2025. The initiative is a partnership between Q Life, a cultural platform under the State of Qatar’s International Media Office (IMO), and developer Century Games.
The complete Qatar Adventure now features eight distinct mini-games. The two new additions, Water Jetpack Obby and Water Slide Punch Card Challenge join the existing games: Lusail International Circuit Racing Game, Lusail Stadium Penalty Kick Game, Pearl Diving Mini Game, Luggage Rush Simulator, Katara Towers Slackline, and the Secret Majlis Game.
Through the various cultural activities, traditional items, and landmarks, Q Life continues to use interactive technology to reimagine cultural exchange and build bridges of understanding between Qatar and the world.
