DOHA: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in partnership with Qatar Foundation, has announced the launch of Warif Academy, the first specialised government academy of its kind in Qatar.
The Academy is dedicated to students with multiple disabilities, including developmental and cognitive disabilities accompanied by physical and health impairments that impose severe functional limitations.
The Academy officially commenced operations on Sunday, establishing a pioneering model for achieving equal opportunities and enhancing the quality of inclusive education, in line with the Education Quality Sector of the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3).
