DOHA: The country is expected to experience a drop in temperatures over the coming days due to the influence of northwestern winds, the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has said.
In its evening weather forecast on Sunday, QMD said "the weather is cold and partly cloudy with a chance of rain at night".
"The winds are mainly northwesterly, light to moderate in speed," it added.
On Monday, offshore thundershowers are expected accompanied by strong winds and high seas, QMD said.
There is a chance of rain, it added.
The country will experience moderate temperatures during the daytime with slight dust in places, QMD said, adding that it will be cold by night.
