DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has received at his office in Lusail Palace a delegation of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement 'Hamas' for the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, headed by Dr Khalil Al-Hayya.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, which aim to achieve a long-term truce in the Strip.
During the meeting, His Highness the Amir reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
