The QCSF University 3x3 Basketball Tournament for the 2024-2025 season, organized by the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF) in collaboration with the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF), concluded on Sunday on a high note at the Qatar University’s basketball arena.
In the men’s competition, Qatar University claimed first place and the tournament title. The University of Doha for Science and Technology (Team A) secured second place, while their (Team B) finished third.
In the women’s competition, the University of Doha for Science and Technology emerged as champions, with Qatar University (Team A) taking the runner-up position and Qatar University (Team B) securing third place.
Secretary-General of QCSF, Rashid Saeed Adiba, along with Dr. Senaid Salem Al Marri, Director of Sports Affairs at Qatar University and QCSF board member, awarded the winning teams.
The Secretary-General also expressed gratitude to Qatar University for hosting the event and commended the Qatar Basketball Federation for its outstanding organization and support.
The two-day tournament, held on January 11 and 12, brought together teams from several universities. In the women’s division, participants included the University of Doha for Science and Technology, Qatar University (Teams A and B), and Lusail University (Teams A and B).
In the men’s division, teams from the University of Doha for Science and Technology, Qatar University, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Lusail University, Georgetown University in Qatar, and GSI in partnership with Arkansas State University and Texas A&M University in Qatar, took part.
Rashid Adiba praised the efforts of everyone involved in making the tournament a success and emphasized the continued progress of Qatari university sports toward greater achievements.
