Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala is still doubtful for the Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim on Wednesday.

"It’s not yet completely certain that he’ll be involved. We’ll look at it in training. If he’s back in the squad, that would be good,” coach Vincent Kompany said in a news conference on Tuesday.

Musiala returned to team training on Monday after recovering from a flu and after missing the 1-0 win at Borussia Mönchengladbach

on Saturday.

"We’ve not had a lot of training, so yesterday and the final session today are very important. Then we’ll know exactly. We didn’t have too many problems after the (Gladbach) match. If Jamal’s involved, we’ve got one more,” Kompanu said.Bayern top the Bundesliga four points ahead of champions Bayer Leverkusen.

The Hoffenheim game is the start of an intense period that will see six games in 18 days, including the final two matches of the Champions League’s league phase.

In the Champions League, they are currently 10th, which would secure a spot in the knock-out stage play-offs.

"If everyone stays fit, I’m looking forward to the six matches. This is what we want: Lots of matches in which you can achieve a lot. If the squad’s fit, we’re happy to be able to play the matches,” Kompany said.
