As many as 250 clinicians and staff from the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) participated, as official partners, in this year’s Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare.
The annual conference brought together healthcare professional on an international platform to share knowledge with the collective aim of improving the quality and safety of care for the patients and the communities they serve.
PHCC’s participation included presentations focused on patient engagement, unlocking the resilience potential in healthcare organisations, joy at the workplace and patient-centred care. PHCC panellists also took part in sessions focused on the quality of services delivered for diabetics and patients suffering from chronic disease, as well as on dentistry services and the benefits of early screening.
The forum’s objective was in line with PHCC’s commitment to providing safe, compassionate and quality care across all primary care services and facilities while remaining abreast of the latest regional and international developments.
PHCC offered engaging activities at the venue for visitors and healthcare professionals, shedding light on the importance of quality and safety in healthcare.
PHCC’s pavilion at the exhibition also showcased its achievements this year including the opening of four new state-of-the-art health centres in the past 12 months, creation of the Patient Consultative Council, training of its 2,378 clinical and non-clinical staff on quality improvement and patient safety concepts and tools.
