THE Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), under the aegis of the Embassy of India, conducted its 37th free medical camp in association with the Ministry of Public Health at Imara Helathcare at Labour City in Industrial Area, for the benefit of blue collar workers.
The camp was supported by Imara Healthcare, that provided qualified doctors and paramedics; Wellcare Group, that provided free medicine; ‘Yoga in Doha’, that conducted a Yoga workshop for the attendees; and Uttara Karnataka Balaga (UKB), an associate organisation of ICBF that supported with volunteers for the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Qatar HE P Kumaran in the presence of ICBF Coordinating Officer and First Secretary (Labour & Community Welfare) at Indian Embassy SRH Fahmi, ICC President A P Manikantan, ICBF President and Managing Committee members, representatives of Imara Healthcare, Wellcare Group and UKB.
The Indian ambassador stressed the importance of holding such camps for community welfare and applauded the efforts of ICBF and all those supporting it.
The camp was led by ICBF President P N Baburajan, Vice President Mahesh Gowda, General Secretary Avinash Gaikwad, Senthil Agastheeswaran, as well as managing committee members Subramanya Hebbaglu, Nivedith Ketkar, Ziad Usman, Juttas Paul and Santosh Pillai.
