Pakistan Insafian Forum Qatar (PIFQ) and Pakistan Women’s Welfare Society (PWWS) organised a function t0 mark Pakistan National Day at Warwick Hotel.
Deputy Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Mahmood Jan was the chief guest while Pakistan ambassador HE Syed Ahsan Raza Shah attended the event as the guest of honour.
Ahmed Afridi and Khaled Khan from PIFQ while Shazia Tariq from PWWS received the distinguished guests on their arrival.
Ahmed Afridi welcomed the guests. Islam Afridi, Sajid Azam, Zainab Rauf and Hajra Shahid compered the programme. Fahad Ismail was the lead organiser of the event.
Students of Bright Future International School (BFIS) presented national songs and tableaus. Hina Waqas of BFIS conducted a quiz contest on Pakistan Movement.
Pakistani female artists Mala Waseem and Shehla Khalid presented a portrait to the chief guest. A documentary on the Lahore Resolution was shown on the occasion. Tariq Niaz proposed the vote of thanks.
