DOHA: The Abandoned Vehicles Removal Committee of the Ministry of Municipality, in cooperation with Al Wakrah Municipality, represented by the Municipal Control Department and the Mechanical Equipment Department at the Ministry, the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and the Al Fazaa Police, carried out an extensive inspection campaign to remove neglected cars and equipment within the geographical scope of Al Wakrah City.
From January 5 to 11, it resulted in the removal of 87 neglected cars and 3neglected treadmills, in addition to issuing 103violation reports in implementation of Law No. (18) of 2017 regarding public hygiene.
The Ministry of Municipality has calledon vehicle owners to not leave their vehicles in public places, and to cooperate to eliminate the phenomenon of the spread of neglected vehicles that distort the general view, in addition to the health and environmental damage they cause.
