AMMAN: Qatar Charity is dispatching a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip to support the Palestinian people following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

Qatar Charity said a delegation visiting Jordan supervised the packing and preparation of the aid convoy, which includes food parcels sufficient for families for one week. The convoy is part of Qatar Charity's urgent response to support the Palestinian people after the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, in partnership with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Authority.

Assistant CEO for Resource Development and Communications at Qatar Charity and head of the delegation, Ahmed Yusuf Fakhro, stated that this convoy reflects Qatar Charity's commitment to supporting Palestinian people in Gaza and is part of their swift response to ease their hardships.

The delegation's visit to Jordan aims to strengthen humanitarian efforts, address the needs of Syrian and Palestinian refugees, and highlight interventions Qatar Charity is undertaking to support them. The visit also included distributing winter aid as part of the "Warmth of Winter" campaign and setting up refugee camps for Palestinian refugees and other vulnerable individuals in several regions.
