Officials of Qatar Chamber (QC) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) recently convened for a coordination meeting at the chamber’s venue.
The meeting was attended by Director of QC Member Affairs Department Alanoud Al Mohannadi and Iman Al Nuaimi, director of educational services centers department at the ministry, along with several employees of the two departments.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance efforts and cooperation to regulate the training process and the accreditation mechanism for the centers.
The meeting also discussed the legalization of the process for certifying training certificates, particularly for unlicensed consulting and training centers by the ministry.
Officials reviewed the aspects of cooperation, information exchange, and the integration of efforts between the two departments.
The meeting agreed that the ministry would provide the chamber with the approved activities of educational services centers and approved centers. This will allow the chamber to certify certificates when reviewing educational licenses.
Furthermore, it was agreed that the ministry would provide the chamber with a list of training centers whose licenses have been cancelled by the Educational Services Centers Department. This will enable the chamber to reject the certification of training certificates issued by such institutions.
