The Ministry of Culture has announced that the Egyptian Cultural Week will be held in Doha from January 28 to 31, in cooperation with Egypt’s Ministry of Culture. A high-level official delegation will participate in this event, due at the permanent Darb Al Saai venue in Umm Salal, in addition to a group of arts and heritage craftsmen and specialists. Featuring an array of daily artistic and theatrical performances and exhibitions of plastic arts and traditional crafts, the event allows the public to interact with the rich Egyptian heritage.
The Egyptian Cultural Week aims to introduce the Qatari public to the various Egyptian cultures, enhance dialogue between cultures, encourage cultural and artistic communication between creators from different countries, highlight local and international cultural and artistic heritage, and support local and international talents in the cultural and artistic fields.
