Officials from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said the graduation of the seventh batch of cadets represents a culmination of the significant efforts made by the Police Academy and marks a major achievement in the field of policing. This accomplishment has earned the academy a prominent place among global institutions, establishing it as a distinguished security organisation that brings pride to all associated with it. They commended the academy for its excellence and its ability to graduate competent police officers trained to the highest scientific and professional standards, as well as the graduates’ dedication to learning throughout their studies.

Minister of State for Interior Affairs HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al Thani expressed pride in the graduation of the seventh batch of Police Academy cadets. "As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on one of the Ministry of Interior’s key achievements: the establishment of the Police Academy and its transformation into a distinguished institution. In just a few years, it has prepared highly competent police officers capable of fulfilling the Ministry’s responsibilities to serve the community in various security and humanitarian aspects,” he remarked.

The academy, he noted, has consistently demonstrated its ability to prepare police officers equipped with legal, police, and military expertise. The previous six graduating batches have significantly bolstered the MoI’s operations. He emphasised that the graduation marks the culmination of years of dedication by this distinguished group of graduates and the beginning of their integration into the workforce to fulfil their national and professional duties with excellence.

HE Abdullah bin Khalaf bin Hattab Al Kaabi, Undersecretary of the MoI, stated that the graduation aligns with the Ministry’s mission to achieve regional and international leadership. Its strategy focuses on enhancing the efficiency of human and material resources, maintaining security and stability, and protecting lives and property by providing exceptional security services that meet the highest standards.

HE Staff Major General Dr Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal, Legal Advisor to the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the Police Academy, highlighted the academy’s role in equipping the MoI with graduates who possess modern knowledge in law and police sciences, as well as practical skills in the latest policing and security systems. He noted that under senior leadership, the Ministry is making strides in security, education, and training, moving steadily toward achieving its strategic objectives to ensure community security and stability.

HE Staff Major General Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Suwaidi, assistant undersecretary for technical and special affairs, noted that preparing qualified and highly competent security leaders is a key component of the Ministry’s strategic plans.

HE Sheikh Nayef bin Faleh bin Saud Al Thani, assistant undersecretary for security affairs noted that the academy’s adoption of modern scientific methods in law and police sciences has contributed significantly to the excellence of its graduates.

Major General Mohammed Jassim Al Sulaiti, director of Public Security, commended the graduates for their discipline, commitment, and teamwork during their four years of rigorous study and training.

Brigadier Abdul Rahman Majid Al Sulaiti, president of the Police Academy, highlighted that the academy is a key element of the Ministry’s strategy to build an advanced and integrated security system founded on human competence and institutional development.

Lieutenant Colonel Fahd Saeed Al-Subaie, vice president of the Police Academy and director of the Police College, described the graduation as a significant milestone in the academy’s journey of excellence. He noted that the institution has achieved numerous accomplishments since its establishment, including the graduation of six prior batches of highly capable officers ready to address contemporary security challenges using best global practices.
