Alashbal International School celebrated its 10th foundation anniversary and ‘family day’ at a colourful function held at the Aspire Dome, recently.
The celebration was led by the school administrator Kathreen Agno-D’Sena, Principal Mozelle Perillo and other faculty members. The school has 920 students on its roll, from nursery to Grade 8.
"This event gives us the chance not just to watch our children perform and interact with parents but also provides us the opportunity to evaluate our achievements and measure the challenges we have faced in the last 10 years,” said Agno-D’Sena in her welcome address on the occasion.
She also highlighted the recent achievements of the school such as bagging the championship in School Olympic Programme, Primary Girls Volleyball and also finishing among TOP 3 overall on PIRLS International Examination among all international schools in Qatar.
She also acknowledged the hard work of the faculty members of the school including of the Principal Perillo, preparatory school head teacher Rocelyn Taneo, pre-school coordinator and overall event coordinator of this year’s ‘foundation day’ celebration Rhea Shanawaz. The school administrator also thanked academic coordinator Anne Costoya and grade school subject coordinators Genelyn Pile, Aiza Evangelista and Cherilyn Sernicula.
