Birla Public School (BPS) bade farewell to Senior Vice-Principal Shirly
Rappai recently.
Rappai worked in the school for over eight years. She has been a dynamic leader, who has been an inspiration to the staff of the school because of her genuinely deep, abiding love for the children that she has taught over the years, and has taken their well-being to heart.
Rappai will be able to retire with the knowledge that she has left behind a school that is able to offer facilities on par with the best that Indian schools in Qatar have to offer.
In a statement, Rakesh Verma, senior teacher, said: “We wish her well for her retirement, and hope she has many years of happiness and contentment ahead of her. We are very sure that the lessons of life we have learnt from her would help us climb the ladders of success while being humble and modest at the same time.”
Verma added, “She used to give us extra time, support and always helped us with guidance during our days of anxiety and worry when things weren’t going on as per her expectations.
“The special relation and bonds we the teachers shared with her are forever going to remain in our hearts and we will always miss the lovely days spent here in the school with her. I wish her all the best and the memories of our time together will forever be with us. God bless you with the best of health and prosperity in life.”
