Doha Bank presented the ECO-Schools Programme Award 2018-2019 to DPS MIS Doha Qatar at a special event held on February 23, for successfully completing the ECO-Schools Programme projects. The ambassador of Ecuador to Qatar HE Ivonne A Baki gave away the prizes and awards.
In the ‘Waste Water Management’ category, the blue star award was bagged by DPS-Modern Indian School for the project ‘DPS MIS Water Mamagament’.
Speaking at the function, CEO of Doha Bank Dr R Seetharaman said he was extremely pleased by another successful year of the ECO-Schools Programme, part of Doha Bank’s ongoing efforts and commitment towards developing and implementing green initiatives that spread awareness of environmental conservation and protection.
The ECO-Schools Programme Awards 2018-19 highlights the commitment of DPS MIS towards the social responsibility of making a difference to the environment and society, in coordination with Doha Bank.
Asna Nafees, principal of DPS-MIS, proposed the vote of thanks on behalf of all the principals and schools that participated in the event through the year in their school premises.
