The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has officially granted the first postal license under the Law Regulating Postal Services to Qatar Postal Services Company at a ceremony held by CRA on Wednesday to launch the postal licence.
CRA stated that milestone marks a pivotal step toward modernizing Qatar’s postal service through introducing competition, and contribution to the development of local economy in alignment with CRA Strategy and the Qatar National Vision 2030. The license was presented at the ceremony by President of CRA, Eng. Ahmad Abdulla Al Muslemani, to Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Postal Services Company, Faleh bin Mohammed Al Naemi.
