DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has patronised the graduation ceremony of the 20th batch of student candidates at Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College, which was held at the college's headquarters.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers.

The ceremony was also attended by Minister of Defense of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia HE Abdul Qadir Mohamed Nour, and a number of senior leaders of security and military colleges from sisterly and friendly countries.

It was also attended by a number of heads of diplomatic missions and military attachés in the country, senior officers from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard, the State Security Service, and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), as well as a number of senior security and military officials and guests of the ceremony.

After the national anthem was played, and the commander of the column asked permission from His Highness the Amir to inspect the column of graduates, which included 296 graduates from the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the Republic of Rwanda, the graduates’ march and military parade began, and then His Highness honoured the outstanding students of the batch.

After that, the flag was received and handed over from the 20th batch to the 21st batch, the appointment order was read and the parade departed. At the end of the ceremony, the officers of the 20th batch took the oath and the college anthem was sung.
