With Qatar gearing up to host the 2022 World Cup, Regency Group Holding has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dell
Technologies.
The MoU aims at empowering the retail and real estate customers of Regency Group Holding, by providing them with smart technology solutions as a catalyst of growth.
The MoU was signed by Hassan Ibrahim al Asmakh, Vice President and CEO at Regency Group Holding and Ghassan Kosta, Country Manager – Qatar at Dell Technologies, at the Dell Technologies Forum, in Doha on Wednesday.
Themed ‘Make it Real’, this one-day free event brought together Dell Technologies’ seven technology powerhouses and forward-thinking business leaders to help organisations in Qatar drive national and business transformation initiatives and redefine its position at the frontline of innovation.
The MoU will help Regency Group leverage and offer the necessary technology expertise, industry knowledge coupled with Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) -driven smart solutions to their customers.
These purpose-built solutions are designed to help organisations stay competitive, accelerate the cycle of innovation and better engage with today’s connected customers with highly personalised and seamless experiences.
Additionally, the MoU provides for development of a command and control centre to help Regency Group Holding expand their capabilities and unlock new enterprise value.
Strengthening this significant collaboration, Regency Group Holding and Dell Technologies will not only develop an awareness of technology advancements, but also offer organisations in Qatar a roadmap to becoming the hallmarks of the economy, a statement said.
Hassan said, “Digitisation is unlocking new levels of socio-economic prosperity. However, in order to capitalise on these opportunities, organisations in Qatar, big or small, need to adopt and adapt to advancements in technology.
