The teachers of grades 1 and 2 of Doha Modern Indian School organised a workshop for mothers in the school premises on March 10. The Principal, Panchali Dasgupta Sahu, addressed the gathering stresing on the pivotal role of mothers in nurturing a child.
The workshop, which lasted for two hours, aimed at educating mothers on issues related to teaching techniques and parenting.
The workshop madethe mothers aware about the new techniques of teaching concepts in English, Maths and EVS.
The head of primary, Michelle Iyer led an interactive session on ‘Preparedness for Effective Learning’. School Counsellor Unni Krishnan gave tips to mothers on how to handle behavior-related issues of children effectively at home. The interactive Q&A round was also held on the occasion.
The mothers, who were eager to attend this workshop, were also trained on ‘How to teach children through various activities.’ The mothers took an active part and enjoyed the workshop thoroughly.
