The programme aimed to familiarise the trainees with the nature of the company’s work, its vision and mission, and provide them with management skills and experiences that will help them in their future careers.Human Resources Director of Mazaya, Dalal Yaqoob, said: "During the summer training programme for Qatari students, which was supervised by the Human Resources Department, the trainees moved between all departments of the company to train and familiarize themselves with the work and tasks of each department, gaining administrative and technical skills. The Human Resources Department also followed up on the students, monitored their training and met with them weekly so that all trainees share the benefits that they gained from this experience and what they have learned during the week.”Dalal added: "Based on the social responsibility towards members of the society, the senior management of Mazaya Company is keen to provide an integrated summer programme that helps students acquire the practical skills and abilities that will benefit them after completing their academic studies and joining the field of work in various sectors of the state.”At the end of the training period, the company held a ceremony to honour the students for their efforts and commitment to the programme plan. During the ceremony, the students were also encouraged to continue their efforts in developing their scientific capabilities and acquiring practical skills, contributing to the progress and advancement of their country.Une of the trainees, Ali Al-Ajmi, during the honouring ceremony, said: "During the training period, I became acquainted with work ethics and acquired the skill and accuracy in doing business.”On her experience during the training period, Haya Al-Malki said: "During my training period at Mazaya Company, I acquired the practical experience that I will need when I join the labour market. I was also able to learn about work procedures in the various departments of the company.”Trainee Haya Al-Balam commented: "It was an important experience to get acquainted with the administrative work environment that will help us build our future plans after graduation, God willing.”Shahd Al-Badr, a trainee, said: "Working as one team and exchanging opinions to achieve a specific goal was the biggest benefit to me during the training period.”
