DOHA: The regional workshop on enhancing communication and cooperation between airlines and Passenger Information Units started on Monday morning, in Doha. The workshop is organised in collaboration with the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), the United Nations Migration Agency (IOM), and the National Counter-Terrorism Committee at the Ministry of Interior. It brings together specialized experts from Arab and regional countries, along with the participation of several entities from Qatar.
The opening session was attended by officials from the Ministry of Interior and members of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee.
Over two days, the workshop will discuss various topics related to linking airlines with Passenger Information Units and showcase international experiences in passenger data processing, among other relevant subjects.
