DOHA: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has met with President of the Malaysian Senate HE Senator Dato' Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, in addition to the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. They also discussed several topics of mutual interest.
The President of the Malaysian Senate commended the State of Qatar's efforts that contributed to reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
