The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will close the southbound Collector/Distributor Road at Hamad Port Interchange exit loop towards Mesaieed from Friday, April 19 until June 7, 2019 to facilitate the completion of permanent road works around Hamad Port Interchange.
During this traffic change, which is designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users heading towards Mesaieed through Hamad Port Interchange will be diverted to Umm Al Houl Interchange.
Road users coming from Al Majd Road and heading towards Mesaieed will be required to use the first exit loop to get onto Mesaieed Road heading northbound towards Al Wakra. They will be required to travel for three kilometres until reaching Umm Al Houl Interchange.
At Umm Al Houl Interchange, road users can take the first right exit and continue straight towards the northern entrance of Hamad Port, where they can make a U-turn and head back towards Umm Al Houl Interchange and use the exit loop onto Mesaieed Road heading southbound towards Mesaieed.
