A representative from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) recently held seminars on education in Germany at top-level universities in Doha, including Hamad Bin Khalifa University and Carnegie-Mellon University, as well as at the German International School Doha (DISD) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
A large audience of all ages and nationalities attended the seminars to learn about the opportunities offered at German universities for studying and researching at the event organized by the German Embassy, said a press release.
German universities have an outstanding reputation around the world. Germany offers quality education and is one of the most popular destinations for international students offering a vast number of programmes in German as well as in English geared to the individual needs of the students and researchers.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a joint organisation of German institutions of higher education and student bodies. The task is to support academic cooperation around the world, especially by promoting exchange of students and academics. The German Embassy has thanked HBKU, CMU-Q, TII and DISD for supporting the seminars. (TNN)
